What Is the New Fruit That Is Great For Bones?

Have you heard? Guess what is the new fruit that is good for your bones? It seems they serve a benefit that was unrecognized before. Yes, that is right, prunes! They are good for your bones! Unbelievable! But in fact, according to nutrition researcher Bahram H. Arjmandi, RD at Florida State University, midlife women who ate 10 prunes per day for a year slowed their bone loss substantially. If 10 sounds like a lot, then 3 is ok. Arjmandi says even 3 daily prunes can make a difference. Since women can lose up to 20% of bone mass in the 7 years after menopause, he has learned through decades of study that prunes are the most bone-friendly fruit.
I am all for natural fixes, myself. That is why I drink Omnitrition's Thermo Herbal Tea®, which increases bone density. Tastes great, too!  It has so many other good qualities including:
  • Includes highly beneficial effects of DHEA(Research indicates that DHEA has been shown to improve or stabilize signs and symptoms of systemic lupus erythematosus.)
  • Anti-aging
  • Decreases body fat
  • Increases muscle tone
  • Increases bone density
  • Promotes well-being & decreases pain
  • Increases sexual function & pleasure
  • Enhances activity of the immune system
  • Improves memory
  • Helps increase life span
  • Improves quality of sleep
  • Helps prevent cancer, arterial disease, multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer's disease, and helps treat Lupus.
