Eating healthier doesn't mean giving up the foods
you love to eat. It just means to eat smarter. Instead of having ice
cream, cookies, cake or candy, try eating sweet fresh fruit. Some
people follow the 80/20 rule after losing the weight needed. Eat very
healthy 80% of the time & indulge a little 20%. Here is how your plate should look: fill 1/2 your plate with fruits & vegetables, 1/4 with high-fiber whole grains like brown rice or whole wheat pasta, & 1/4 with lean protein like beans, poultry(preferably light meat without the skin), fish or other lean meat. |
